ഏപ്രിൽ 5 ഞായറാഴ്ച ഡൽഹി പോലീസ് ഓൾഡ് ഡൽഹി ചാന്ദ്നി ചൗക്കിൽ ഫാർമസി നടത്തുന്ന നിഖിൽ അറോറയെ (47) വ്യാജമരുന്ന് മൊത്തക്കച്ചവടക്കേസിൽ പിടികൂടിയിരുന്നു. ഫാർമസിവഴി വ്യാജമരുന്നുവിറ്റ് ഇയാൾ വർഷംതോറും നേടിയിരുന്നത് 3.5 കോടിമുതൽ അഞ്ചുകോടിവരെ രൂപയാണ്. ഇയാൾ മരുന്ന് കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരുന്ന ഉത്തർപ്രദേശ് മുസാഫർപുരിലെ ഗോഡൗണിൽ നടത്തിയ റെയ്ഡിൽ പോലീസ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത് മുഴുവൻ വ്യാജ സാംപിളുകളായിരുന്നു.
പലതവണയായി സുപ്രീംകോടതിയും വിമർശിച്ചു
1,20,535 വ്യാജഗുളികകളാണ് പോലീസ് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഒപ്പം, 50 കോടി രൂപയുടെ വ്യാജ ജി.എസ്.ടി. ബില്ലുകളും.തമിഴ്നാട്ടിൽ നിർമിച്ച വ്യാജ കഫ് സിറപ്പുകൾ കഴിച്ച് കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ മരിക്കാനിടയായപ്പോൾ വിഷയം പാർലമെന്റിൽ ചർച്ചയായിരുന്നു. മരുന്നുപരിശോധനയിലെ അലംഭാവത്തെ പലതവണയായി സുപ്രീംകോടതിയും വിമർശിച്ചു
