ഡൽഹിയിൽ അന്തരീക്ഷ മലിനീകരണം കുറയ്ക്കാൻ വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് പുതിയ നിയന്ത്രണം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. ബിഎസ്-6 മലിനീകരണ നിയന്ത്രണ നിലവാരം പാലിക്കാത്ത, ഡൽഹിക്ക് പുറത്ത് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് നവംബർ ഒന്ന് മുതൽ നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശനം അനുവദിക്കില്ല. 2027 ജനുവരി 31 വരെയാണ് വിലക്ക്. ശൈത്യകാലത്ത് വായുമലിനീകരണം നിയന്ത്രിക്കാനുള്ള ഡൽഹിയുടെ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് നടപടി. ഇതോടെ നോയിഡ, ഗുരുഗ്രാം, ഗാസിയാബാദ് തുടങ്ങിയ സമീപ നഗരങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ദിവസവും ഡൽഹിയിലേക്ക് ജോലിക്കും വ്യാപാര ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കും പോകുന്നവർക്ക് യാത്ര ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാകാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്.
പത്ത് ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വാഹനങ്ങളെ ബാധിക്കാൻ സാധ്യത
ഗതാഗത വകുപ്പിന്റെ കണക്കുകൾ പ്രകാരം ഗുരുഗ്രാം, ഫരീദാബാദ്, നോയിഡ, ഗ്രേറ്റർ നോയിഡ, ഗാസിയാബാദ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലായി പത്ത് ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വാഹനങ്ങൾ ബിഎസ്-6 നിലവാരത്തിന് താഴെയാണ്. ഗുരുഗ്രാമിലും ഫരീദാബാദിലുമായി ഏകദേശം രണ്ട് ലക്ഷം വാഹനങ്ങളുണ്ട്. ഇതിൽ 70 ശതമാനത്തോളം ബിഎസ്-3, ബിഎസ്-4 വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലാണ്. ഈ രണ്ട് ജില്ലകളിലായി നിലവാരം പാലിക്കാത്ത ഏകദേശം 50,000 വാണിജ്യ വാഹനങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്. നോയിഡയിലും ഗ്രേറ്റർ നോയിഡയിലുമായി നാല് ലക്ഷത്തിലധികവും ഗാസിയാബാദിൽ ഏകദേശം നാല് ലക്ഷവും വാഹനങ്ങളാണ് ബിഎസ്-6 നിലവാരത്തിന് താഴെയുള്ളത്. എന്നാൽ ഈ വാഹനങ്ങളെല്ലാം പുതിയ വിലക്കിന്റെ പരിധിയിൽ വരണമെന്നില്ല.
ഇലക്ട്രിക്, സിഎൻജി വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇളവ്
സിഎൻജി വാഹനങ്ങൾക്കും ഇലക്ട്രിക് വാഹനങ്ങൾക്കും വിലക്ക് ബാധകമല്ല. ആംബുലൻസുകൾ, അഗ്നിരക്ഷാ വാഹനങ്ങൾ, നിശ്ചിത അവശ്യസേവന വാഹനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയ്ക്കും ഇളവുണ്ട്. ഡൽഹിക്ക് പുറത്ത് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത ബിഎസ്-6 നിലവാരമുള്ള വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കാം. ഡൽഹിയിൽ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്ത വാഹനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഈ പ്രത്യേക വിലക്ക് ബാധകമല്ല. എന്നാൽ നിലവിലുള്ള മറ്റ് മലിനീകരണ നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങളും വാഹനങ്ങളുടെ കാലപ്പഴക്കവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട നിയമങ്ങളും തുടരും.
