തിരുവനന്തപുരം: നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ 78.29 ശതമാനം പോളിംഗ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി കേരളം . രാത്രി 9.30 വരെയുള്ള കണക്കുകൾ അനുസരിച്ചാണിത്. 2021ലെ നിയമസഭാ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ 76 ശതമാനമായിരുന്നു പോളിംഗ്. കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലാണ് ഏറ്റവും ഉയർന്ന പോളിംഗ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്; 81.36 ശതമാനം. പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിൽ പോളിംഗ് ശതമാനം 80 കടന്നു. 50 ലേറെ മണ്ഡലങ്ങളിൽ 80 ശതമാനത്തിലേറെയാണ് പോളിംഗ്. 1987നു ശേഷം ആദ്യമായാണ് വോട്ടിംഗ് ശതമാനം ഇത്രത്തോളം ഉയരുന്നത്. 1987ൽ പോളിംഗ് 80.54 ശതമാനമായിരുന്നു.
യുഡിഎഫ് തരംഗമാണ് വോട്ടിംഗ് ശതമാനത്തിലെ വർധന ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുന്നതെന്നു യുഡിഎഫും സർക്കാരിന്റെ വികസന നേട്ടങ്ങളാണ് വോട്ടിംഗ് ശതമാനം ഉയരാൻ കാരണമായതെന്ന് ഇടതുമുന്നണിയും അവകാശപ്പെട്ടു.വോട്ടർ പട്ടിക ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിനു ശേഷം (എസ്ഐആർ) നടന്ന തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് എന്ന നിലയിലാണ് വോട്ടിംഗ് ശതമാനം ഉയരാൻ കാരണമായതെന്നാണ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു കമ്മീഷൻ പറയുന്നത്. ഇരട്ടവോട്ടുകളും മരിച്ചവരുടെയും സ്ഥലംമാറിപ്പോയവരുടെയും അടക്കമുള്ള 24.6 ലക്ഷം വോട്ടുകളാണ് എസ്ഐആറിൽ സംസ്ഥാനത്തു വെട്ടിപ്പോയത്.
ആദ്യ രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂറിൽ തന്നെ 16 ശതമാനത്തിലേറെ വോട്ട് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി
രാവിലെ ഏഴിന് വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് ആരംഭിച്ചതു മുതൽ അസാധാരണ തിരക്കായിരുന്നു വോട്ടെടുപ്പു കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ. ആദ്യ രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂറിൽ തന്നെ 16 ശതമാനത്തിലേറെ വോട്ട് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. പിന്നീടു വന്ന രണ്ടു മണിക്കൂറുകളിൽ ശരാശരി 13 ശതമാനം വീതം വോട്ട് പെട്ടിയിലായി. ഉച്ചയോടെ പകുതിയിലേറെ വോട്ടുകൾ പോൾ ചെയ്തു.വൈകുന്നേരം ആറിന് വോട്ടെടുപ്പു സമയം അവസാനിക്കുന്പോഴും സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ മിക്ക ബൂത്തുകളിലും വോട്ടർമാരുടെ നീണ്ട നിരയായിരുന്നു. ചില ബൂത്തുകളിൽ 100- 150 വോട്ടർമാർ ക്യൂവിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഇവർക്ക് ടോക്കണ് നൽകിയാണ് വോട്ട് ചെയ്യിച്ചത്. ഏഴു മണിയോടെയാണു മിക്കയിടത്തും വോട്ടിംഗ് നടപടി പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞത്. അപൂർവം ചില ഇടങ്ങളിൽ വോട്ടെടുപ്പ് ഒൻപതുവരെ നീണ്ടതായാണ് തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു കമ്മീഷൻ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ പറയുന്നത്.
