സ്ത്രീകളുടെ പ്രസവം സങ്കീർണ്ണമാക്കിയത് ആശുപത്രികളും രക്ഷിതാക്കളുമെന്ന സംവിധായകൻ അഖിൽമാരാരുടെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ വിയോജിപ്പ് പരസ്യമാക്കിയ സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് നേരെ അഖിൽമാരാരുടെ ഫെമിനിച്ചികൾ പദപ്രയോഗം സംസ്കാരശൂന്യതയുടെ ഭാഗമെന്ന് സംസ്ഥാന ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പിലെ മെഡിക്കൽ ഓഫീസറായ ഡോ. കെ പ്രതിഭ പ്രതികരിച്ചു.
സ്ത്രീകളുടെ പ്രസവത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് അഖിൽമാരാരുടെ അഭിപ്രായ പ്രചാരണ പ്രവൃത്തി സുരക്ഷിത പ്രസവം ആരോഗ്യമുള്ള അമ്മയും കുഞ്ഞുംമെന്ന ആശയം മാതൃകപരമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന ആരോഗ്യ സംവിധാനത്തിന് മേൽ സമൂഹത്ത് തെറ്റിദ്ധാരണ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതായി കാണിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഡോ. കെ പ്രതിഭ സർക്കാരിന് അഖിൽമാരാർ എതിരെ പരാതിയും നല്കിരുന്നു. സ്ത്രീകളുടെ പ്രസവത്തെ പറ്റി പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യങ്ങൾ വളച്ച് ഓടിച്ചതായി നിലപാട് വ്യക്തമാക്കി അഖിൽമാരാർ പിന്നീട് രംഗത്ത് വന്നു. അഞ്ച് പ്രവസിക്കണമെന്ന് പറയുന്ന ഭാര്യയാണ് എനിക്ക് ഉള്ളതെന്നും എന്നെക്കാൾ സമൂഹത്ത് സ്വാധീനമുള്ള ജയറാം, സത്യൻ അന്തിക്കാട് എന്നിവർക്കെതിരേയും ഡോക്ടർമാർ കേസ് കൊടുക്കണമെന്നും ഫെമിനിച്ചികൾ ഇളകി മറിയുകയാണെന്നും അഖിൽമാരാർ ഇതിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
സ്ത്രീകളുടെ പ്രസവത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് കേട്ട് കേൾവി മാത്രമുള്ള അഖിൽമാരാർ നടത്തിയ അഭിപ്രായ പ്രകടനങ്ങൾ വിവാദമായതോടെ നിലവിലുള്ള ആരോഗ്യ സംവിധാനങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടും മോശമായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ച് ന്യായീകരണങ്ങൾ നിരത്തുവാൻ മാരാർ ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് വീട്ട് പ്രസവങ്ങൾ കർശനമായി തിരുത്സാഹപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ ആവിശ്യമായ നടപടികൾക്കായി നിയമപോരാട്ടം നടത്തുന്ന ഡോ. കെ പ്രതിഭ പറഞ്ഞു.
തൃക്കാക്കര എൻ ഡി എ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥി കൂടിയായ അഖിൽമാരാരുടെ, പ്രസവത്തെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ വിവാദമായതോടെ അതിനുള്ള മറുപടിയിൽ WHO മാനദണ്ഡപ്രകാരം സിസേറിയൻ നിരക്ക് 10-15 ശതമാനത്തിൽ നിർത്തണമെന്നും കേരളത്തിൽ 45 ശതമാനത്തിന് മുകളിൽ ആയത് നടക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും മാരാർ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. രോഗിയുടെ ശാരീരിക അവസ്ഥ പരിശോധിച്ച് പരിചരണം കൃത്യമായി ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ WHO ഒരു നിയന്ത്രണവും ഡോക്ടർമാർക്ക് നല്കിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ഡോ. കെ പ്രതിഭ ചൂണ്ടികാട്ടി.
