കൊച്ചി: തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് മസ്തിഷ്കമരണം സംഭവിച്ച കിളിമാനൂർ സ്വദേശി ജയി ജയകുമാറിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളുമായി എയർ ആംബുലൻസ് കൊച്ചിയിൽ എത്തി. എറണാകുളം ഗ്രാൻഡ് ഹയാത്തിലെ ഹെലിപ്പാഡിലാണ് എയർ ആംബുലൻസ് എത്തിയത്. ഇവിടെ നിന്നും ഹൃദയം ലിസി ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചു.

മലപ്പുറം സ്വദേശിനിയായ 14 വയസുള്ള കുട്ടിക്കാണ് ഹൃദയം നൽകുന്നത്. ജയി ജയകുമാറിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഉൾപ്പെടെ അഞ്ചു അവയവങ്ങളാണ് ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ആത്മഹത്യ ശ്രമത്തെ തുടർന്ന് കിംസ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെയാണ് യുവതിക്ക് മസ്തിഷ്ക മരണം സംഭവിച്ചത്.
ജയിയുടെ കരളും വൃക്കയും തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തു തന്നെയുള്ള രോഗികൾക്ക് നൽകും. ഒരു വൃക്ക കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജിലെ രോഗിക്കും നൽകും. കോർണിയ തിരുവനന്തപുരം കണ്ണാശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റും. 35കാരിയായ ജയി ജയകുമാർ ടെക്നോപാർക്ക് ജീവനക്കാരിയായിരുന്നു.
